In a ac circuit supply voltage and current are given as v=200sinwt and i=105 sin(wt-40), find the impedance in the circuit

Bandwidth=R÷L

Again,

Bandwidth= resonating frequency (fr)÷ Q factor.

Q=(1/R )× (L/C)^1/2

=1÷100 ×(8/0.5)^1/2

=40

Now,100/8=fr/40

=fr=(100×40)÷8=4000/8=500rad/s (ans.)
