Answer:

let the number of two rupee coin is x

so the number of one rupee coin is 3x

so,

2*x+1*3x=150

=> 2x+3x=150

=> 5x=150

=> x=150/5

=> x=30

so the number of two rupee coin is 30

and number of one rupee coin is 3*30=90

Answer:

90

Step-by-step explanation:

Let there are n two-rupee coins. So, there must be 3n one-rupee coins.

Amount of 3n one rupee = 3n(1) = 3n

Amount of n two rupees = (n)(2) = 2n

Total amount = Rs 150

⇒ 2n + 3n = 150

⇒ 5n = 150

⇒ n = 150/5 = 30

  There are 3n one-rupee coins,  hence,

there 3n = 3(30) = 90 coins
