In a bag number of one rupee coins is three times the number of two rupee coins . If the worth of the coins is RS.120 find the number of one rupee coins

let the two rupee coin be x
then one rupee coin = 3x
ATQ
2x + 1(3x) = 120
5x = 120
x = 24

one rupee coin= 3(24)= 72
two rupee coin = 24

and the number of two rupee coins = y

now case 1

3x=y .................!

and 

Case 2:

3x+y=120

3x+x=120
4x=120
x=30 
y = 60
