Let x, y and z be the number of Rs. 1, 50p and 25p coins in the bag.

then According to given condition

x + y + z= 150 ---- (1)

And

x + 0.5y + 0.25z = 150----(2)

Equating =n (1) and (2),

   x + y+ z = x + 0.5y + 0.25z

y + z = 0.5y + 0.25z

0.5 y + 0.75z = 0

⇒ y and z = 0

Hence x = 150

∴ 0 coins are constituted by 50 p coins.
