Answer:-

\red{\bigstar} Probability that it is neither a red ball nor blue ball

\large\leadsto\boxed{\sf{\dfrac{5}{16}}}

Given:-

Number of red balls = 4

Number of green balls = 5

Number of blue balls = 7

To Find:-

The probability that it is neither red nor blue.

Solution:-

Total number of balls in the bag = 4 + 5 + 7 16

\pink{\bigstar} \boxed{\sf{Probability = \dfrac{Total \: no. \: of \: outcomes}{No. \: of \: experiments}}}

• Probability of red ball = 4/16

= 1/4

• Probability of green ball = 5/16

= 5/16

• Probability of blue ball = 7/16

= 7/16

\pink{\bigstar} Event that the ball is neither red nor blue = Event that the ball will be green

Probability = 5/16
