50 paise = 0.5 rupees

Let the total no. of 0.25 rupee coin be x.

Then its denomination = 0.25x

Total no. of 0.5 rupee coin = (50-x).

Then its denomination = 0.5(50-x)

ATQ,

0.25x + 0.5(50-x) =13

0.25x + 25 - 0.5x =13

-0.25x = 13 - 25

-0.25x = -12

0.25x = 12

X = 12 ×100÷25

X = 48

total no. of 0.25 rupee = 48

Total no. of 0.5 rupee coin = (50-x).

= 50 - 48
