There are 150 coins of 5 cents .

Step-by-step explanation:

There are coins of 25 cents, 10 cents and 5 cents in the ratio of 1:2:3.

Let the ratio be x

No. of coins of 25 cents = x

Value of x coins of 25 cents = 25x

No. of coins of 10 cents = 2x

Value of 2x coins of 10 cents = 20x

No. of coins of 5 cents = 3x

Value of 3x coins of 5 cents = 15x

We are given that there is $30 in all

$1 = 100 cents

$30 = 3000 cents

So, 25x+20x+15x=3000

60x=3000

x=50

No. of coins of 5 cents = 3x = 3(50)=150

Hence There are 150 coins of 5 cents .
