Answer:

Let the number of 1 rupees, 50 paise and 25 paise coins be 14x, 27x and 18x.

50 paise= 1/2 rupees

25 paise= 1/4 rupees

Value of of Rs1= Rs(1×14x)

= Rs14x

Value of Rs1/2=Rs(1/2×27x)

= Rs 27x/2

Value of Rs1/4=Rs(1/4×18x)

= Rs9x/2

ATQ,

14x+27x/2+9x/2= 288

32x= 288

x= 288/32

x= 9

therefore, No. of 25 paise coins= 18×9= 162
