Edge of cube = 20 cm

TSA of 1 cube = 6a^2

= 6* 20 * 20

= 2400 cm^2

TSA of 250 cubes = 2400 * 250 cm^2

Area of cardboard = 50 * 50
= 2500 cm^2

No. Of cardboard Required = Area of 250 boxes / Area of cardboard

= 2400 * 250 / 2500

= 240

No. Of cardboard = 240

Hope it will help you..... ☺

Heya mate,
here is your answer

given each edge of cubical box = 20cm
to make each box cardboard required = TSA of the cubical box

As we know TSA of cube = 6a² where a represents its edge, So

TSA of the cubical box
= 6(20)²
= 6 × 400
= 2400cm²

So, total cardboard required for making 250 boxes = 250 × 2400cm²

Hence, cardboard sheets of size 50cm×50cm required

= (250×2400)/50×50
= (250×2400)/2500
= 240

Hope this helps
