In a basket of 60 oranges, 15% are rotten on the remaining are in good condition. Find the number of oranges in good condition. ​

Answer:

TOTAL ORANGES IN BASKET = 60

ROTTEN ORANGES = 15 percent

 \frac{15}{100}  \times 60 \\   \\  = 9

So, Rotten oranges = 9

ORANGES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION = 60-9

= 51
