Answer:

1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

let the mangoes be x

appels ⅓

oranges ¼

bananas 1/5

total =240

part of apples

⅓of 240

1/3*240

=80

part of oranges

¼of 240

1/4*240

=60

part of Bananas

1/5of 240

1/5*240

=48

now

80+60+48+x=240

180+x=240

x=60

than the number of mangoes in the basket is 60

let it be the y part then,

1/y*240=60

y=1/4

Heya !

_______________________________

Part of apples = 1/3

Part of oranges = 1/4

Part of bananas = 1/5

Let the total no. of fruits be 1

Part of mangoes = ?

=> 1 - ( 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/5 )

=> 1 - { ( 20 + 15 + 12 )/60 }

=> 1 - 47/60

=> ( 60 - 47 )/60

=> 13/60 ANS

_______________________________

GIVEN THAT :

No. of fruits in the basket = 240

Therefore ,

No. of apples = 1/3 × 240

=> 80 apples. ANS

No. of oranges = 1/4 × 240

=> 60 oranges. ANS

No. of bananas = 1/5 × 240

=> 48 bananas. ANS

No. of mangoes = 13/60 × 240

=> 52 oranges. ANS
