in a basket of fruits, 1/3 are apples,1/4 are oranges, 1/5 are bananas. The remaining are mangoes ? If the total no. Of fruits is 240, how many of each are there in the basket?

Answer:

no. of apples=1/3 of total amout =1/3 * 240 = 80 apples

similarly,

no.of oranges= 1/4* 240=60 oranges

no. of Bananas= 1/5* 240= 48 bananas

no. of mangoes = 240-(80+60+48)=240-188=52 mangoes
