the ratio is 6:4 we will write that 6+4=10
number of good apples are 6÷10×20=12
number of bad apples are 4÷10×20=8

let the 6:4 be 6x and 4x
6x+4x=20
10x=20
x=20\10
x=2
6x=6*2=12
4x=4*2=8
good apples are 12
