\textbf{What is median ?}
\textbf{Median} is the middle value.

\textbf{How to calculate median} ?
\textbf{Step 1 -}First sort the given numbers in an ascending order.

\textbf{Step 2 -} - Calculate the \textbf{total number of items.}

\textbf{Step 3 -} If total number of item is \textbf{odd,} then median is exactly the middle number. If total number of item is \textbf{even,} then median is the average of two central values.

\textbf{Lets gat back to the question,}

\textbf{Weight of tomatoes in grams -}

60, 70, 90, 95, 50, 65, 70, 80, 85, 95

Lets sort the weights in ascending order,

50, 60, 65, 70, 70, 80, 85, 90, 95, 95

\textbf{Total number of item is 10,}which is \textbf{even number.}

So the median will be the \textbf{average of two central numbers}.

Two central number in the given data are,
10/2 = 5th number = 70
10/2 + 1 = 6th number = 80

\textbf{Median = (70+80)/2}

=> Median = 75 gram

\textbf{Median of weights of tomatoes = 75grams.}

\textbf{Hope M Answer Helped}

\textbf{Thanks}
