in a bowling game,adam scoref an average score of 22 in first two attempts,16 in his third attempt and 24 in his fouryh attempt.what must he score in his fifth attempt to achieve an average score of 20 in all his 5 attempt?​

average score in total 5 attempt = 20

sum of score in total 5 attempt /5 = 20

sum of scores in 5 attempts = 5*20 = 100.....(1)

so, his total score must be 100

average score in 2 attempts =22

so,

sum of scores in 2 attempts /2 =22

sum of score in 2 attempts = 44.......(2)

score in 3rd attempt = 16.....(3)

score in 4 th attempt = 24........(4)

put the values from (2),(3),(4) in (1) ,we get:-

44+ 16+24+5th attempt = 100

score in 5th attempt = 100-84

Hence ,

score in 5th attempt = 16
