Answer: n( R)= 9

n(B)= 7

n(G)= 4 and n(S) = 9+7+ 4 = 20

So, P(R) =  n( R) / n(S) = 9/20

P(G) = n(G) / n(S) = 4/20

Then.,

P( R U G ) = P(R) +P(G)  = 9/20 + 4/20 = 13/20

Finally,

P ( R U G ) bar = 1 - P( R U G ) = 1 - 13 /20 = 7/20
