CSA=2πrh
=2×22÷7×0.28×0.4
2×22×0.4×0.4

I think there is an error in units of the height.
It may be like this ,
h = 4m
Dimensions of the cylidrical pillar :
radius = r = 0.28 m
height = h = 4m
number of pillars = 24
curved surface area of a pillar
= 2πrh
CSA of 24 pillars = 24 × 2πrh
cost of painting 1 sq m = Rs 10
Therefore ,
Total painting cost = 10 × 24 × 2πrh
= 10 × 24 × 2 × ( 22/7 ) × 0.28 × 4
= Rs 1689.60
