Radius of each pillar= 28cm or 28/100m
C.S.A of cylinder= 2×22/7×r×h
= 2×22/7×28/100×4
= 11×4×4/25
= 176/25
= 7.04m^2.
C.S.A of one cylinder= 7.04m^2
C.S.A of 24 pillars= 7.04×24
= 168.96m^2.
Rate of painting= ₹8/m^2
Total cost of painting= ₹8×168.96
= ₹1351.68.
