Answer:

We have,  

r= radius of cylindrical pillar =28 cm=10028m

h= height of cylindrical pillar =4 m

∴ curved surface area of a cylindrical pillar = 2πrh=2×722×10028×4cm2

∴ Curved surface area of 25 pillar = 2×722×10028×4×25m2=176m2

Hence, total cost of painting at the rate of Rs 8per m2=Rs(176×8)=Rs 1408
