Answer:

Curved Surface Area of Each Cylinder=2πrh

=2×22×21×4

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Radius of 1 pillar = 21cm = 0.21 m

Height of 1 pillar = 4m

Cost of painting all pillars at Rs. 120 per m^2

SOLUTION

We know that C.S.A of Cylinder =  2πrh

= 2 x 22/7 x 0.21 x 4

= 44 x 0.03 x 4

= 174 x 0.03

= 5.28 m^2

Cost of painting per m^2 = Rs. 120

Cost of painting 5.28 m^2 = Rs.120 x 5.28

                                           =  Rs. 633.6
