➣Tungsten is glowing but copper is not . It is because tungsten has a high melting point (3380⁰C) . It doesn't melt at high temperature. It retains much of heat generated ,so that it becomes very hot and emits light. That is the reason why tungsten is glowing . Copper doesnot glow because it has low melting point and if it gains exess of heat it will melt.
