A invest:-   6 months = Rs. 50000
                  1 month  =  Rs. 50000/6

B invest :-  4 months = Rs.60000
                   1 month   = 60000/4  = 15000

C invest:- 5 months = Rs. 80000
                 1 month  =  80000/5  =  16000
A : B : C =  50000/6 : 15000 : 16000
                =  50000 : 90000 : 96000  (multiply by 6)
                =  50 : 90:  96   (divide by 1000)

Total share = 50 + 90 + 96 = 236
So, A share  = 50 / 236 * 18800 = 3983
      B Share = 90 / 236 * 18800 =  7170
      C Share = 96/ 236 * 18800 =  7647

Answer:

A's share= Rs. 6000

B's share= Rs. 4800

C's share= Rs. 8000

Step-by-step explanation:

A:B:C(ratio of investments)= 50000*6:60000*4:8000*5

= 30:24:40

= 15:12:20

Let the investments be 15x,12x,20x

Therefore total investment= 15x+12x+20x=47x

So,

Share of A= 15x/47x * 18800= Rs.6000

Share of B= 12x/47x * 18800= Rs.4800

Share of C= 20x/47x * 18800= Rs. 8000

Hope it helps.
