my friend here your answer
_____________________________
the capital ratio of "Abhay" and "Kishan" =12000:20000
=6:10
kishan is a sleeping partner mean he didn't any work of business.where Abhay manage and run the business. For which he received 10% of profit before sharing of profit.
so,
total profit during the year =9600 Abhay received 10% for his work:
(9600* 10%) =960
[before sharing of profit]
therefore,
shareable profit =(9600-960)
=8640
so,
share of abhay = (8640*6/16)
=3240
share of kishan =(8640*10/16)
=5400
so,
amount received by abhay :
(960+3240)=4200 ______________________________
