In a camp, the food stock is for 200 people for 45 days. If 50 more people join the camp then for how many days the food stock lasts?

Unitary Method

Let's see food stock under following circum :

For, 200 people 45 days

1 people (45/200) days

 \frac{45}{200}

When , 50 people will be added more to original strength, the number of people would become 250 , right !!

250 \: people \:  =  \frac{45}{200} \times 250

on calculating we get ,

56.25 \: days
