The number of days the provision will last will be 20 days.

Given,

There is a provision for 400 people for 23 days.

60 more people join the camp.

To Find,

The number of days the provision will last.

Solution,

There are 400 people for 23 days.

it means,

= 400×23.

Now, 60 more people arrived at the camp.

So,

A new number of people will be 460 and the number of days will be reduced.

let the new number of days be x.

To find the number of days.

= 400×23 = 460×X

x= \frac{400*23}{460}

x = 20 days.

The number of days the provision will last will be 20 days.
