since the rice is enough for 300 persons for 42 days

therefore \: the \: rice \: is \: enough \: for \: 1 \: person = 300 \times 42 \\ \\ = 12600 \: days

since \: 50 \: more \: persons \: join \: the \: camp \\ \\ therefore \: total \: number \: of \: persons \\ \\ = 300 + 50 = 350 \\ \\ therefore \: the \: rice \: is \: enough \: for \: 350 \: persons \\ \\ = \frac{12600}{350} \\ \\ = 36 \: days

hope it helps.....

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The steps are simple:

There is enough rice for 1 person=300×42=12600days.

Then if 50 more persons join the camp then,

=12600÷350

=36 days.
