Given that 1200 peoples in a campt had enough food for 28 days Let the number of peoples transferred to another fort be x After 4 days, number of peoples = (1200 – x) Given that food lasted for 32 more days. Hence 1200 × 24 = (1200 – x) × 32⇒ (1200 – x) = 900 ⇒ x = 1200 – 900 = 300 Thus 300 proples were transferred to another camp.

GOOD MORNING

HEY BUDDY HERE IS UR ANSWER

Let x soldiers were transferred to another fort

Remaining soldiers = (1200-x)

Remaining days = (28-4)=24 days

According to question,

-->1200/(1200-x)=32/24

-->1200*24=(1200-x)*32

-->28800=38400-32x

-->32x=38400-28800=9600

--> x=9600/32=300

:. 300 people left in the camp
