Given :

‘sip rip lip’ is coded as b f d

‘bip sip tip’ is coded as g h b

‘wip lip mip’ is coded as t f l

To Find :

The code for " tip "

Solution :

∵ ‘sip rip lip’ : b f d                .......1

‘bip sip tip’ : g h b                 .......2

‘wip lip mip’ : t f l                  .......3

From 1 and 2

common term is 'b' and 'sip'

So, The code for 'sip' : 'b'

From 1 and 3

common term is 'f' and 'lip'

So, The code for 'lip' : 'f'

so, The code for 'rip' : 'd'

Again

The code for 'bip' and 'tip' : 'g'  or 'h'

Similarly

The code for 'wip' and 'mip' : 't'  or 'l'

So, The code for ' tip ' = either ' g ' or ' h '

Hence, The code for ' tip ' is either ' g ' or ' h '    Answer
