Given,

RAMAN = 23.5

So we will first find the alphabetical positions of the letters in the word

' RAMAN' :

R = 18

A = 1

M = 13

N = 14

Sum of all the letters in the word = R + A + M + A + N

= 18 + 1 + 13 + 1 + 14

= 47

Also ,

We will find sum of all the letters divided by 2

Sum of all letters / 2 = 47 / 2 = 23.5

So,

RAMAN = 23.5

Similarly,

For  ' CAP '

C = 3

A = 1

P = 16

Sum of letters = C + A + P = 3 + 1 + 16 = 20

Sum of letters / 2 = 20 / 2 = 10

So, CAP = 10

In the same way for the question,

We will find the value for ' CAPACITY '

C = 3

A = 1

P = 16

I = 9

T = 20

Y = 25

Sum of letters = C + A + P + A + C + I + T + Y

= 3 + 1 + 16 + 1 + 3 + 9 + 20 + 25

= 78

Sum of letters / 2 = 78 / 2 = 39

Hence,

CAPACITY = 39
