Answer:

4/25

3/8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say total students = 100

then girls = 60

& boys = 40

25% of boys  are studying mathematics = (25/100) * 40 = 10

10% of girls are studying mathematics = (10/100) * 60 = 6

Total who study mathematics = 16

probability that mathematics is being studied = 16/100 = 4/25

girls are studying mathematics = 6/100

studying mathematics = 16/100

probability that the student is a girl = (6/100)/(16/100) = 6/16 = 3/8
