Let the fraction be x/x + 4

• When 3 added to both numerator and denominator is become :-

$→ x + 3/x+ 4 + 3 = 9/7$

$→ x + 3/x + 7 = 9/7$

• On cross Multiplication

$→ 7x + 21 = 9x + 63$

$→ 21 - 63 = 2x$

$→ - 42 \div 2 = x$

$→ x = - 21$
