We know the relation between electric field and potential
e.g., |V| = ∫E.dr
Where V is potential, E is electric field.
if electric field is zero . e.g.,E = 0
Then, |V| = ∫0.dr = Constant
Means , potential is constant in that region.
So, if in a certain region of space the electric feld is zero from this fact the electric potential in this region will be constant.
