Answer:

  • The total no. of students in the school = 105.

To Find:

  • Total no. of students in the school.

Given:

  • The no. of students 8 years of age = 48.

Therefore,

The no. of students above 8 years of age:-

→ 48 × 3/4

→ 12 × 3

→ 36

Solution:

As 20% students are below 8 years of age, hence 80% students are 8 & above 8 of age.

So,

Total no. of 80% students are:-

→ 48 + 36

→ 84

Now,

80% = 84

1% = 84/80 = 1.05

hence, 100% = 84/80 × 100 = 105

Therefore,

Therefore the total no. of students in the school = 105.
