we know that the no. of person can not be a fractional no., it should be always a whole no.

So by trial method we found that option (c) give the whole no. i.e.

            35.6% of 250 = (250*35.6)/100

                                    = 89

Also if we calculate 35.6 % of others options then the calculated value comes in fraction so our answer is 250.
