adult men:adult women= 2:3
adult women:adult children=8:1
now equating the ratio
16:24:3
so the ratio bw adults nd children is
16+24:3
=40:3

➡HERE IS YOUR ANSWER⬇

Men : Women = 2 : 3 = 16 : 24

Women : Children = 8 : 1 = 24 : 3

So, Men : Women : Children = 16 : 24 : 3

Let us consider the common multiple = a.

Then,

Men = 16a, Women = 24a and Children = 3a.

So, (Men + Women) = 16a + 24a = 40a

Hence,

Adults (Men + Women) : Children

= 40a : 3a

= 40 : 3
