Total no. Of tickets sold = 300
Total sales rupees= 32000
For one ticket = 32000/300=106.66
If rupees 80=32000/80=400 ticket
Rupees for 120 =32000/120=267 ticket

Gulamkhaiber1: thanks
shaan36: please solve it its linear equation in one variable
devil73: ur ans is wrong cz only 300 tickets sild
devil73: sold
Gulamkhaiber1: yes you are right
shaan36: but u r taking two variable
Gulamkhaiber1: hello Shaan do you have answer
shaan36: no

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose Ticket=X  Price= 80

               Ticket=Y  Price=120

      Sold  Ticket=300

Total Amount=32000

So  X + Y = 300

X =  300 - Y

Total Amount is: 80X + 120Y = 32000

Now we keep X value

80( 300- Y) +120Y =32000

      Y= 200

SO X=  100

Final Result: Y = 200 X 120 = 24000

                    X = 100  X 80   =  8000

Total Amount: 32000
