The numbers of balcony seats are 91.

Assuming the number of normal seats are=X

Assuming the number of balcony seats are=Y

Total number seats are 400.

So, X+Y=400

Y=400-X

Price for normal tickets are=25 Rs.

Price for balcony tickets are=80 Rs.

The total price of tickets are = 15000 Rs

So, 25X+80Y=15000

So, 25X+80(400-X)=15000

So, 25X+32000-80X=15000

So, -55X=15000-32000

So, -55X=-17000

So, 55X=17000

So, X=309.09

Seat count can’t be a fraction. So X=309

So Normal seats are=309

So balcony seats=400-309=91

Answer:

So, the balcony seats are approximately 90 in number.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of seats in the balcony.

The remaining seats will be: 400 - x

Now, we need to calculate the amount that will be collected if all these seats are full.

We calculate this as follows:

Total amount collected = 25(400 - x) + 80(x)

= 10000 - 25x + 80x

We already know the total amount that was collected, so we equate it to this.

15000 = 10000 - 25x + 80x

15000 = 10000 + 55x

15000 - 10000 = 55x

5000 = 55x

x = 5000/55 = 90.90 which is approximately 90 seats

So, the balcony seats are approximately 90 in number.
