Given : In a circle AO is radius

tangent  AP =12 cm

angle P=45°.

To Find : Value of OP

Solution:

ΔOAP is right angled at A

Cos∠P  =  AP/OP    ( Base / Hypotenuse)

=> Cos45° = 12/OP

=> 1/√2  = 12/OP

=> OP = 12√2

Value of OP is​  12√2 cm
