r = 21 cm.

theta = 60°

pii = 22/7.

ans :-

as we know that

L = r × theta

where theta should be in radian.

therefore L= r× theta

L = 21 × 60 × pii/ 180

L = 21/3 × pii

L = 21/3 × 22/7

L = 22 cm

therefore thought of arc is 22 cm

Given: a circle of diameter 42 cm

arc subtends an angle of 60˚ at the center

π = 22/7

To Find :length of arc.

Solution:

Radius = Diameter/2

=> Radius r = 42/2 = 21 cm

Length of arc = ( arc angle/360°) 2πr

= ( 60°/360°) 2(22/7) 21

= (1/6) (2) (22) 3

= 22

Length of arc = 22 cm
