Answer:

Given:-

dimeter = 42cm

angle (θ) = 60 degree

π = 22/7

To find :-

length of an arc:- ?

Solution:-

As we know that

 \sf⇒ l = r  \times \theta \: l=r \times θ

(where θ should be in radian.)

so, by putting all given value in thise above example:

We get,

\sf \: ⇒ l = 21  \times  60  \times  \frac{\pi}{180}\: \\  \\ \sf \: ⇒ l = 21  \times  \frac{\pi}{3}

 \sf⇒ l = \frac{21}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7} ---- \bigg( as \:  it  \: is \:  given  \: that \:  \pi = \frac{22}{7}  \bigg)  \\  \\ \sf \: ⇒ l =   \bold{22\: cm} \:

therefore :-

length of an arc is 22 cm...
