in a circle of radius 10 cm find the length of the chord which is at the distance of from a centre ( teke √3=1.732)​

let length of chord (AB)=x cm

and, radius of the circle 10cm

draw a perpendicular OM from O on the chord AB so, bisects the chord

therefore

BM= AB÷2 = X=2

now in right angle OMB

OB^2 = OM^2 +BM^2

10^2= 5^2 + X÷2^2

100 _ 25=X÷4^2

75 ×4 =X^2

X= root 75×4

x= 6root2cm ans
