let length of chord (AB)=x cm
and, radius of the circle 10cm
draw a perpendicular OM from O on the chord AB so, bisects the chord
therefore
BM= AB÷2 = X=2
now in right angle OMB
OB^2 = OM^2 +BM^2
10^2= 5^2 + X÷2^2
100 _ 25=X÷4^2
75 ×4 =X^2
X= root 75×4
x= 6root2cm ans
thanks
