i) minor segment = area of sector - area of the triangle
= tita/360×pi r ^2 - 1/2 b×h
= 1/4×3.14×100 - 10 ( base and height are the radii becsuse it is right angled triangle)
= 78.5-10
= 68.5 cm ^2
ii) major segment = total circle area - minor segment
= pi r^2 - 68.5
=3.14 ×100-68.5
= 314-68.5
= 245.5 cm^2
therefore,
minor segment = 68.5cm ^2
major segment = 245.5 cm ^2
