Step-by-step explanation:

given radius of circle = 10cm

tita= 90

pi = 3.14

i) minor segment = area of sector - area of the triangle

= tita/360×pi r ^2 - 1/2 b×h

= 1/4×3.14×100 - 10 ( base and height are the radii becsuse it is right angled triangle)

= 78.5-10

= 68.5 cm ^2

ii) major segment = total circle area - minor segment

= pi r^2 - 68.5

=3.14 ×100-68.5

= 314-68.5

= 245.5 cm^2

therefore,

minor segment = 68.5cm ^2

major segment = 245.5 cm ^2
