Answer:

The length of the arc is 44 cm & Area of sector of a circle is 770 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Radius of circle,r = 35cm

Angle subtended by an arc, θ = 72°

Length of the arc, l = (θ/360) × 2πr

l =  (72°/360°) × 2π ×35

l = ⅕ × 2 × 22/7 × 35

l = (44 × 7)/7

l = 44 cm

Length of the arc, l = 44 cm

Area of the sector of a circle, A = (θ/360) × πr²

A = (72°/360°) × π ×35²

A = ⅕ × 22/7 × 35 × 35

A = 22 × 5 × 7

A = 110 × 7

A = 770 cm²

Area of sector of a circle ,A = 770 cm².

Hence, the length of the arc is 44 cm & Area of sector of a circle is 770 cm².
