Answer: join OR

              now, in  ΔOPR and ΔORQ

                        RP = RQ ( Tangent property )                  

                         OP = OQ ( RADIUS )

                          OR = OR ( COMMON )

                         ΔOPR ≅ ΔOQR ( SSS )

                        ∠PRO =∠ORQ ( C.P.C.T. )

                          ∠PRO + ∠ORQ = 120

                          ∠PRO + ∠PRO = 120 ( ∠PRO = ∠ORQ )

                            ∠PRO = ∠ORQ = 60

                            Now, In ΔRPO

                            Cos60 = RP/RO

                              1/2 = RP/OR

                              OR = 2RP

                            OR = RP + RP

                           OR = RP+ QR

                 Hence proved
