arc subtends an angle at centre ( θ ) = 60°

Find :-

• Area of Sector

Solution :-

Area of a sector = θ/360∘ × π × r²

= 60 ° / 360 ° × 22/ 7 × ( 7 × 7 ) cm ²

= 1 / 6 × 22 / 7 × 49 cm ²

= 1 / 3 × 11 × 7 cm²

= 77 cm ² / 3

= 25 . 66 cm ²

Hence, area of sector is 25. 66 cm ².
