Given :- In a circle with center O, OM ⊥ AB, OM = 3, AM = 4, find OA.

Answer :-

In right angled ∆OMA , we have,

→ OM² + AM² = OA² (By pythagoras theorem)

→ 3² + 4² = OA²

→ 9 + 16 = OA²

→ 25 = OA²

→ 5² = OA²

→ OA = 5 (Ans.)
