Perpendicular = OM = 6 cm
Chord = AB = 16 cm
OM is perpendicular to AB
AM = MB = 1/2 × AB ( Perpendicular drawn from centre bisects the chord )
= 1/2 × 16
= 8 cm
From ∆ AMO
AO² = AM² + MO²
AO² = 8² + 6²
AO² = 64 + 36
AO² = 100
AO = √ 100
AO = 10
Radius of the Circle = 10 cm
