Here we use the property of angles on same arc are equal.

If two or more angles in a same arc then all angles are equal.

From the figure attached with this answer we get <ABD = x°  then <ACD= x° because <ABD and <ACD are on same arc ABD

<CAB =y° the <CDB = y°because <CAB and <CDB are on same arc CAB

So <ABD = <ACD =x° and <CAB = <CDB= y°
