In a circle with centre O, PQ is a diameter and

PR is a chord. If the distance of mid-point of PR

from point O is 8 cm and PQ = 34 cm, then find

the length of chord PR​

AB bisects chord PQ at point C.

Therefore,

PR=QR=8cm

RB=4cm

Let, radius OA=OB=r

OB=OR+RB

=>r=OR+4

=>OR=r−4 (i)

Now,
