Answer:

A chord divides the circumference of circle in a way that their mean is circumference of semicircle.

The difference in the length of arcs is inversely proportional to length of chord.

And for mutually perpendicular chords the difference of the length of arcs cut by chords are same

so, CWB−BZD=CXA−DYA

CXA+DZB=AYD+BWC

And they all sum up to give Circumference of circle.

CWB+BZD+CXA+DYA=2πr

CWB+DYA=πr(semicircle).
